Is there any other reason to travel to Granada, other than to visit the amazing historic Alhambra? You need to look up, to appreciate the intricate plasterwork on the ceilings, around the doors and windows, to see the beauty above. The first week I tried that challenge, there were 300 views in a day. This was a good day in stat-land for me. Maybe it was just a fluke.
Moorish architecture is indeed wonderful. I went to Granada in 1985- a return, I think, might be in order. But then,how short is life.
