Ailsa from Where’m My Backpack is a voice of reason responding to the tragic and senseless execution of the gifted men and women at Charlie Hebdo in her post “Laughter as a Political Act.” Bravo Ailsa.
Throughout history there have been many bloodless revolutions. Fear leads to disempowerment, to irrational and aggresive acts.
Laughter dispels tension. Let us, the unassuming quietly spoken, laugh louder, harder and with more conviction to weaken and ultimately break down any perceived barriers created by social, racial and religious difference.
We are one people, lets all laugh together.
