Buying raw ingredients from a Farmers Market always makes me happy. Not only do I have the freshest and best ingredients to serve my family and friends, I’ve supported small ethical producers and minimized my impact on the enviroment by rejecting packaged goods. A Farmers Market is always a happy place for me.
Happy Place is this week’s photo challenge at the Daily Post

About ladyredspecs
I live in sunny Brisbane, Australia. My love of good food drives me as a cook, a reader, a traveller, an artist and but mostly as an eater.
I cooked professionally for many years but have no formal training. Simply guided by a love of eating good food, respect for ingredients and an abhorrence of artificial additives, I cook instinctively applying the technical know how acquired by experience.
I hope you enjoy what I share

This certainly looks like a ‘Happy Place’ to me Sandra! 🙂

Yep, and one I miss already. I’m struggling with Brisbane’s concept of Farmer’s Market…

Love a farmer’s market! My entry was titled Raspberry August and was about picking your own raspberries. 🙂

My kids and I really enjoyed it. Unplanned, spur of the moment, but all the more fun because of it.
