Dawn at Yellow Water.

The wet season brings abundance to Kakadu National Park fish, birds and plant life flourish but lurking just below the surface is the saltwater crocodile.

I live in sunny Brisbane, Australia. My love of good food drives me as a cook, a reader, a traveller, an artist and but mostly as an eater. I cooked professionally for many years but have no formal training. Simply guided by a love of eating good food, respect for ingredients and an abhorrence of artificial additives, I cook instinctively applying the technical know how acquired by experience. Great shot of that amazing place Sandra. Dawn light is the best. You have captured all the beautiful pinks, mauves and rising heat haze. Just lovely.

  2. As far as the crocs are not seen, it looks like a peaceful pond! I like the pink, blue and light green in the water!

Thanks Debi, Kakadu is an amazing and unique place, the colours are beautiful, esp at dawn. It’s a place of deep spiritual significanc to our indigenous Australians, the feeling is palpable
