It’s not this time of the year without…….

Cherries have played a big role in my adult life. For many years we lived in a house surrounded my cherry orchards. The first Tuesday in November marked the beginning of cherry season, and generally by the turn of the new year the cherries and all been picked and sent to market.

It’s not this this time of the year without cherries.

I live in sunny Brisbane, Australia. My love of good food drives me as a cook, a reader, a traveller, an artist and but mostly as an eater. I cooked professionally for many years but have no formal training. Simply guided by a love of eating good food, respect for ingredients and an abhorrence of artificial additives, I cook instinctively applying the technical know how acquired by experience.
